Following up Garrett's blog on how we all have iPod shuffles now, I caught both boys with their shuffles in on Zach's birthday. It's very cute listening to them sing.....or mumble the tunes! Zach was very specific in his choice of music, High School Musical 2 and The Beach Boys! Kevin has a little more variety, but we only bought the HSM songs from iTunes. The rest they had to choose from Garrett's list of songs.

Around here Matt is known as "The Cupcake Uncle" because he has cupcakes for the boys every time we visit. Here's hoping you get a cupcake of your own today.....and take the day off from running!

After a fun-filled party weekend, it's finally the day we've been waiting for.....Zachary's actual birthday. Happy Birthday to our big 5 year old!!!! We love this guy sooooo much!

Good Citizen

Kevin got an award today at school for good citizenship. We're so proud of him! And he got to go to McDonald's for dinner, which he was even more excited about. :)

Catching Up

I keep thinking our everyday life is not so busy, and then I look at the calendar and it's April already! Where has the time gone? We are getting ready for Zach to turn 5 years old!! He's very excited to have his friends over for a party soon.....we are counting down the days. In the mean time, Kevin has been on Spring break, last week and this. Last week he got to go hang out with Aunt Susan, Uncle Dennis, and Namie for a few days while Zach still had school and mom and dad still had work. Kevin's getting all the fun! Now he's off to spend a few days with Grandpa and Grandma Dee. Zach and I do get to join in the fun tomorrow though as we are going to meet them at Universal Studios.

So I just wanted to get some new pictures up here. Garrett was pointing out how long it has been since my last post. We were doing so well with staying healthy around here up until the middle of March. Since then it's been one thing after another, passing our sickness from one person to another. Garrett's been the only one who's managed to avoid it. So as Spring has finally sprung we are getting out and enjoying the weather and hopefully that will put an end to all the bugs.....

Kevin threw a fit about having to go to the beach because he didn't want to get all sandy. Twenty minutes after we were there he was sitting in the water, happy as a clam.
