As I said, I "kind of " followed the diet my friend gave me. I had to add in more fruit because I just need it and I don't think fruit is bad for me. I am not sticking to it though because I am really tired of egg whites for breakfast. I was almost gagging on them on Saturday and that's when I decided enough was enough. I'll stick to my oatmeal or cold cereal. I just bought some Total cereal with blueberries and pomegranates that I can't wait to have for breakfast this morning. I'm continuing to eat more salad (thanks to all who gave me suggestions for salads). I am continuing my exercise too. You'd think that running 9 miles on Saturday and walking another 9 on Sunday would do something for you.....
Thanks for checking in. I'm not giving up, I'm eating well, and maybe my body just wants to be this size for now!

I know what you mean Tasha. Dennis and I put on alot of mileage last week on our 4 days of hiking in Mammoth. There were some pretty good elevation gains as well. I thought I would come home and jump on the scale and see some pounds had been shed. Well, I came back weighing the same as when I left BUT Dennis dropped a few pounds (not fair). However I did notice that a pair of jeans that I have were not a snug as the last time I wore them. Muscle weighs more than fat so perhaps your mileage added more muscle and that is why you didn't see an weight loss. A friend of mine said to pay closer attention to the inches BUT it's hard to do when you want to see the scale read lower. Hang in there.
Love ya, Susan
wow 9 miles that is great! I would gag on the egg whites too! at least you stayed the same and are noticing a difference in the mirror! I look like a jelly fish!
You look shiny and sparkly and you are beautiful!

I love Garrett's comment!
I had egg whites today and cut up a raw tomato sprinkled with taco sauce on top of the eggs. There's just something weird about the texture of those egg whites by themselves!
Just keep your body moving and you'll do fine. Believe the mirror!
Love, Mom
