A New School Year

Wednesday was a big day in the Riley house. Kevin started 3rd grade and Zach started Kindergarten! Both boys were excited. I bought them both alarm clocks and Kevin set his for 6:00 (without me knowing). He was up and dressed before I was even out of bed. Zach did great, going right into his classroom, hanging up his backpack, and blowing me a kiss goodbye. Kevin's now an old pro at this school stuff and had no problem finding his line that morning. It's so exciting, and a little heartbreaking, to see the boys growing up!

So glad the first day of school went well for Kevin and Zach. How did Mom and Dad do seeing their little one go off to kindergarten?? Cannot believe Zach is in kindergarten and Kev in 3rd grade. Let's slow time down a little. Anyway the pics are adorable. Love you all. Can't wait to see you all tomorrow afternoon and have the guy's with us overnight.

Oh, what priceless pictures, especially the one of Zach with his very happy face in his classroom. What proud parents you must be. A momentous occasion to have both boys in school now! Love Kevie's hair. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall in Zach's kindergarten class. Let me know when I can watch the boys. Not sure "babysit" is an appropriate word any longer. Love you much, Grandma Dee

I just can't quit going back to look at how cute these little boys are. Zach having fun in our "wading pool" sized fountain while Kevin washed the color off of his M&Ms in the fountain. New twists on the usefulness of water treatments. Have a great time in Catalina. Love to you all, Grandma Dee

These are darling pictures. I can't believe the boys are both in school, kindergarten and 3rd grade. Time goes by so quickly.
I would love to be a fly on the wall!
