Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve.  I didn't make it until midnight.  We watched the ball drop on CNN at 9:00, yelled Happy New Year, and then went to bed.  A wild and crazy bunch, I know.  We are now back home after a quick drive back from Mammoth.  I am not ready to tackle the job of putting away all the Christmas decorations that are still up.  Especially not the dead tree in our living room.
Yesterday Garrett and I had a great day of skiing.  I was feeling much more confident and actually having some fun out there.  The boys had fun with Grandpa and Grandma Dee playing in the snow.  Turns out I did pack my camera after all, and Grandpa had his too.  So here are some pictures from our time in the snow.
I am not even really going to unpack the boys clothes, as we are leaving in a few days to head up north.  I am really looking forward to this trip, getting to see family and friends that I don't often see.  First I have to get a couple of days of work in though!

I know you will have a great time at your Mom and Dads. I do hope that the weather will be o.k. for your drive up there. Love to all

We had the best time with the boys up here. I especially loved it when you and Garrett went skiing and we got to go play on the golf course with the boys for 2 hours. I had such fun giving them a big push on their "circles." Sometimes I got so into it that I fell down on the snow on my elbows. Guess I am really not in my 20s, with my 56 year old elbows. Yowee! We had fun doing snow tackles and then grabbing both little guys and rolling over and over down the hill. I was so dizzy. Then, we sat around the circle filled with "snow plates" and pretended that we were sitting around a campfire, roasting marsh-mallows. So fun to "make believe." Thanks for sharing!
