RAIN, RAIN .....

We all know how the rest goes.  Yeah, Yeah, I know we need the rain, but did we really need it on the day that I was supposed to drive?  Did we really need a huge storm producing high winds and closing down bridges?  I don't think so!  I'm here, and I'm pouting over the fact that things did not go my way today.  I know that I have made the "right decision" about not traveling, but I am not happy about it.  So, I continue to pout and cry to my mommy about the fact that I will not be making the trip.  Sure, there are other weekends, I know, but I had it in my mind that I was leaving today.  I was going to see my friends tomorrow and a million relatives on Sunday.
Ok, enough complaining......it doesn't help.  I guess now I can get the house cleaned, YIPEE!

Tasha, I feel so badly that you and the boy's weren't able to travel to your Mom and Dads. I didn't realize that it was you Grandmothers birthday as well as a friend that was in from, I believe India. The forecast and driving condition's were certainly enough to make one not want to take the risk and drive but know how disappointing it is for you. The passes are there whenever you would like to use them. Love you

In a million years, I don't think I would say "yippee" about cleaning. I hope you were kidding!
I am so sorry that you weren't able to go up on Friday. I would have been so disappointed to miss my grandmother's birthday and seeing my best friend. I, too, would have pouted and cried (sobbed). I hope it works out that you can go up soon. I am sure that your mom is so disappointed, too. She was so looking forward to your coming up there. Hard, but wise decision.
We love you,
Denise & Bob
