"I'm Too Sexy"

You can tell a lot about people by their playlist.  Since I have not yet gotten an ipod of my own I used Garrett's again yesterday.  His playlist includes a variety of songs, including rap, Eminem, 80's songs by Prince, and yes, "I'm Too Sexy".  As I run along listening to the songs, oddly enough I find myself liking some of them.  And then I think, "If only the people that I am running by could hear what I am listening to."  So, Garrett says I can make my own playlist of any and all songs that I like.  The problem is I don't know names of songs.  I listen to the radio and just try and sing along with whatever is on.  I don't have a favorite artist or even a favorite type of music.  Any suggestions of good music to listen to while running, would be greatly appreciated here. And, by the way, I ran 9.5 miles yesterday so I need a good long list of songs!!

Did your stride change when "I'm too Sexy" came on? I could do housework to that one! Actually I really like to listen to Vivaldi's Four Seasons when I'm cleaning. It keeps me going. Good job on the 9.5 miles. You amaze me....

I came from Maile's too! :-) iTunes has running cadence's so I add those in every now and then. You know, "Left, righta, left, righta, left, righta, left." Fun for me anyways.

Great job on the 9.5 run..........that is awesome!! I was doing my power walk this morning and thinking about the tunes that make me pick up the walk. However after reading the info from your friends I think that they are probably pretty much more in tune to what you would like. My stuff is all over the board. I find that I like songs that have a great beat to it so I can kind of "rock" out a bit while I am walking. Makes me walk a little faster. Honestly if I didn't have the music my power walks would be oh so boring. Anyway I think you have some great tunes to work out with and reach your goal of the marathon. We can't wait to cheer you on. Love you all

I know over the years, you've been 'brainwashed':) about you and I having similar characteristics. While I agree, trust me, I would NEVER run even 1/2 a mile. So you go girl! And eat lots of cookies to keep up your energy......I'll be right there by the jar. Chocolate Chip, right?
Love ya, Aunt Kathy
