There's nothing like starting the day picking up trash! The boys and I went to the Santa Clarita River Rally this morning and along with a ton of other people helped clean up the dried up river bed. Kevin wanted to do this to earn a patch for cubscouts, but I thought it was a great idea anyway and we'll probably do it again next year. That started at 8, didn't get started picking up trash until 8:45, and we were supposed to be across town to sell popcorn for cubscouts in front of Ralph's at 9. Needless to say, we didn't make it to Ralphs until 10 and so didn't sell much popcorn. So now, we are back at the house, it's still morning and we've already had a full day! Next we're heading over to the park right down the street from us where they are having a Kid's Carnival. It's nice to have things to do!
