You're How Old?

Today is my birthday!  That's me in the picture above when I was almost 1 year, with my mom, dad, and brother.  Sorry about the quality of it, I took a picture of a picture because I don't know how to use our scanner.
I have a simple day planned:
1. Take the boys to school
2. Take Dodger on a walk OR go to the gym
3. See if I can get my hair cut (a real one, not supercuts)
4. Pick the boys up from school.
5. Maybe go play miniature golf or something fun with the boys.
6. Go to dinner with Garrett and the boys.
7. HAVE SOME CAKE OR SOMETHING YUMMY!

That's about it.  I am 33 today, by the way.  I still feel young, except for the gray hairs that keep popping up.  I often find myself wondering when I am truly going to feel like a grown up.  I know I am; a wife, a mother, a professional, a homeowner....all of these things sound grown up, but in my mind I still sometimes feel like a kid.  So today I ask you, when did you start feeling like a grown up?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!
I still don't feel like an adult either. I hope I never do!!! Now I know why my parents always embarrassed me......they never grew up either. It is just hard to understand that when you're a kid. Now I know, now I know!!!!

Indeed...A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, TASHA!!!!!

Now, the real question is, are you talking about being an ADULT (def.- over the age of 18), or acting grown-up? I'm definitely an adult, but acting grown-up, what's so special about that? As long as you can make intelligent decisions about what's important in your life and keep yourself and family healthy and safe, it's OK to be an adult and have fun at the same time. That's my theory anyway.Love you, Mom

Happy Birthday Tasha Da Na :)

On growing up, I think I'll always wonder what I'm going to be when that day comes...I do feel old some days, especially after a long work week. OR when I see other people getting older, like Shelby, he's 9!! and Tara, she's 18...how does that happen?!?!?! I hope you have a super fun day, my "old" friend :)

Love you! ~mich

Tasha,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I know exactly what you mean! I still feel like we are all 16 years old and I am pretending to be an adult. How can I be married, own a home and have a son. Life flies by! I hope that this year is full of love and laughter!
Love,
Melissa

I guess I truly felt like a grown up when my mother passed on. I realized that I could not be "the baby" anymore. That was a sad reminder. My favorite time that I really felt like a grownup was when Kevin was born and I became Grandma Dee. Tasha and Garrett were real grownups to me then, too. You are just the BEST parents.
I must say that when I babysit the boys, I become a kid all over again. Especially when the boys make me say "Ga, Ga, Goo, Goo." Then we all laugh. I love playing tag, too. I really don't think I will ever be/feel old. It's a state of mind, isn't it?

Love you,
Denise
